1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Koruni(“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Koruniis a Korean language-learning application that provides interactive lessons, spaced-repetition flashcards, listening exercises, and immersive story content. Some features require a paid subscription (“Koruni Pro”).

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Korunioffers a free tier and a paid subscription (“Koruni Pro”).

  • •Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store and are governed by their respective payment terms.
  • •Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
  • •Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • •You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your device's App Store / Google Play subscription settings.
  • •No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

4. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for Koruni Pro. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.

5. User Accounts

You may optionally create an account to sync your progress across devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including lesson content, audio recordings, illustrations, and software — is owned by or licensed to Koruni SAS. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • •Reverse-engineer or decompile the App
  • •Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • •Resell or commercially exploit App content without authorisation

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koruni SAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
